It’s definitely a question I struggle with on a day to day basis. The choice does come down to the individual. I’m still team pay off the mortgage, but there are definitely situations where I can see the case for not doing so. For example, if you have a really high mortgage and paying it off in less than 7 or so years isn’t reasonable. Also, if we were in a recovering market like 2011/12 I could see putting a bunch of money into stocks or real estate. Thanks for including me in your post!
